An architect is responsible for overseeing the design, planning and development on buildings. Architecture is a profession of both art and science. In order to gain a license to practice, architects must complete their studies and then follow a strict internship providing practical training as architects’ decisions affect people’s safety. From an artistic side, they are responsible for the aesthetics of a building.
