Ward Lumber maintains an intensive use operation on all timberlands with the assistance of our Forestry Staff, and continually select-cuts logs and pulpwood allowing for the greatest growth potential. Since Harvey M. Ward first planted seedlings on a portion of his farm in 1928, Ward Lumber has planted 500,000 seedlings to ensure production of this renewable resource. Ward Lumber celebrated its 100th anniversary in 1990.
