Founded in 1865, Cornell is a leading private institution of higher learning located in Ithaca, New York. Approximately 20,000 students from 120 countries enroll in Cornell every year. Cornell is a private endowed university and the federal land-grant institution of New York State. It is a member of the Ivy League and a partner of the State University of New York.
