North American Contract Employee Services (NACES) is a wholly owned subsidiary of North American Energy Services, an engineering, operations and maintenance services firm owned by ITOCHU International. NACES was established in 1986 to provide engineering, technical, management and administrative personnel to utility clients either on a temporary basis to address peak workloads and special projects, or on a permanent basis through direct recruitment. In 1989, NACES began staff augmentation contracts outside of our immediate circle of utility clients. Recognizing the potential for new business opportunities in the rapidly growing staffing industry, in 1991 we expanded our client base to include U.S. Department of Energy facilities and their respective architectural engineering firms. In 1994, we successfully entered the hi-tech industry, focusing primarily on the information technology and telecommunications industries. And in 1996, at the request of many of our customers, we added our Administrative/Clerical and Light Industrial divisions, enabling NACES to offer a comprehensive range of staffing services. Today NACES is a national company with regional offices located in Texas and Washington with staffing service capabilities for the entire United States.
