Light Sciences Corporation is a privately-owned company located in Snoqualmie, WA, outside of Seattle. Founded in 1995 as a limited partnership, the Company was incorporated in August 2000. By 2004 development of Litx had progressed to a stage that enabled LSC to create specialized subsidiaries to focus further development of on three distinct business opportunities: Oncology, Ophthalmology and Cardiology. Light Sciences Oncology received venture funding in October 2005 and was spun-off as an independent company.
