FelCor Lodging Trust Incorporated (FelCor) is operating as a real estate investment trust. The Company is the sole general partner of, and the owner of more than 97% partnership interest in, FelCor Lodging Limited Partnership, through which it held ownership interests in 89 hotels with approximately 25,000 rooms and suites as of December 31, 2007. During the year ended December 31, 2007, FelCor owned a 100% interest in 66 hotels, a 90% or greater interest in entities owning four hotels, a 75% interest in an entity owning one hotel, a 60% interest in an entity owning one hotel and a 50% interest in entities owning 17 hotels. As of December 31, 2007, FelCor’s consolidated hotels were located in the United States (83 hotels in 23 states) and Canada (two hotels in Ontario). During the year end December 2007, the Company acquired resort hotels, such as Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, California and the Renaissance Vinoy Resort & Golf Club in St. Petersburg, Florida.(Source: 10-K)
