Established in 1998, CompPartners is a managed care organization serving State funds, insurance carriers, self-insured employers, third-party administrators, and other workers’ compensation payers in California. CompPartners was the first organization to be nationally accredited by URAC as an external review organization for workers’ compensation and was one of California’s first certified Health Care Organizations, and one of the first to launch a Medical Provider Network. Services encompass a medical network, physician peer review, utilization review, medical bill review medical and disability case management using evidence-based guidelines, and employee enrollment services.
