M. J. Electric, LLC is committed to providing a safe work environment for our employees. We have an extensive safety program in place to achieve this goal and comply with government and customer safety and health regulations. Our General Safety Guide Book for Craftworkers highlights M. J. Electric, LLC's Safety Program. Each employee receives a copy of this book and must comply with our established safety practices as a condition of their employment. M. J. Electric takes a proactive approach to safety. We provide personal protective equipment, proper tools, regular equipment testing, safety audits, zero tolerance drug and alcohol policies, and employee safety instruction. An on-site safety representative, frequently our superintendent, is responsible for our safety program. Weekly meetings are held to discuss employee or management safety concerns. A Job Hazard Analysis is conducted daily to ensure the hazards of the job are discussed and procedures/critical steps are reviewed. At customer request or on large scale projects, a full-time safety engineer is assigned to oversee day-to-day operations. Safety is critical to every project. Our managers, engineers, and superintendents plan each project with safety in mind.
