Inverness Golf & Country Club maintains a small roster, and a no tee times policy. Members, men and women, can tee up anytime they desire except when there is organized play. The course is an 18-hole fairly level layout that is rated 68.7 from the white tees and 70.3 from the reds. It is nestled in a setting of large oak trees, pines, palms and a few cedars that can get hookers and slicers into trouble. Water hazards come into play only on two holes on the front side, eight and nine, and two on the back fourteen and fifteen, although errant shots can find lateral hazards on several other holes.
