Over the past 30 years, IBI has perfected the art of creating and hand-assembling dimensional and movable books. Within the industry, IBI has earned a reputation for producing high quality, imaginative, interactive books that educate, entertain, and delight children of all ages. In our Concept Publishing (Packaging) segment, our creative and editorial departments develop innovative and exciting formats for other publishers, focusing on licensed properties. Our experienced and professional creative staff, with backgrounds in education, publishing, illustration, marketing, and design, work with some of the world's best and most talented paper engineers to produce fun, engaging, and innovative novelty books for publishers worldwide. Intervisual Books is continuing to build its educational novelty imprint, Piggy Toes Press and additionally creates and distributes interactive children's books through domestic and international sales channels, using a combination of in-house sales management and an independent book sales representative network. The Company has been successful in increasing market penetration into the traditional chain bookseller and building long-term distribution or "planogram space," in the mass merchant and specialty/gift markets. This is based on the great success of the Piggy Toes line, which includes titles such as Ten Little Ladybugs, What Makes a Rainbow, Eight Silly Monkeys, and the Icky Sticky series. The goal is to continue creating an innovative frontlist with a combination of core novelty books and established licensed properties. Piggy Toes Press is in its sixth year and the results to date are favorable. Intervisual contracts its printing, binding, hand assembly and manufacturing services with independent printers in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand.
