S. B Stone was founded in 1979 by Steve Stone as a company committed to bringing computing solutions to the middle market. At that time many middle market firms had no technology infrastructure, and vendors were just beginning to deliver affordable solutions. S. B. Stone acquired significant expertise in financial and manufacturing applications by implementing packages and by custom authoring systems. Customers were won by direct solicitation and many are still customers today. As the client server market emerged S.B. Stone became a Microsoft partner (we are a premier partner today), and began offering Microsoft networking services to compliment our UNIX expertise. Systems were developed, implemented, and supported in Financial, Manufacturing, Distribution, Healthcare, and Service environments. We often helped our customers migrate though multiple generations of technology environments. Today S.B. Stone implements systems using object oriented techniques, exploiting the web, and providing all of our customers with trusted and reliable solutions. We design and implement Networks, Accounting applications, ERP, E-Commerce, Portal/Intranets, and sell major vendor hardware and software products. We also offer Search Engine Optimizing (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) services to help customers exploit the markets now available via the web.
