Independence Emergency Medical Service (EMS) employs eight full-time technicians, one EMS Director, and has a roster of 15 part-time employees. Independence EMS responds to an average of 2,200 calls a year and utilizes a duty/call crew and has three ambulances. Independence EMS is a progressive service utilizing the latest technology and equipment to provide the citizens of Northern Montgomery County with ALS care.
