Idyllwild Arts Academy is committed to supporting arts education for students from a wide variety of backgrounds, regardless of an individual family's ability to pay the full tuition amount. We believe it is vital to a student's current and future successes to be surrounded by a culturally and socio-economically diverse student body, and therefore encourage each and every family interested in an Idyllwild Arts education to apply. Tuition: For the 2008-09 school year, boarding student tuition is $44,900 (includes room and board) and day student tuition is $28,950 (includes lunch). Financial Aid: In keeping with our philosophy, the Arts Academy supports a significant program of student aid. The goal of the financial aid program at the Arts Academy to help families meet the financial obligations that are part of providing a quality art and academic education for their child. In fact, approximately 50% of our students receive some form of financial aid. Our awards are need-based and given in the form of a scholarship which reduces the cost of tuition. We are committed to bringing together diverse, talented and committed students from all backgrounds and to making it possible for families to help their students reach their fullest potential as artists and scholars. Therefore it is important that each and every family who feels they will need financial assistance inquire about our Financial Aid Program. We look at more than just your net income. A family's ability to afford to send their child to an independent school is a combination of many different factors and we treat each and every family's situation as unique.
