MUFON ORANGE COUNTY is the Orange County, CA, branch of the MUTUAL UFO NETWORK (MUFON INTERNATIONAL). MUFON is one of the world's largest and most reputable UFO scientific research organizations. It is a non-profit group with over 5,000 members worldwide and has been in existence for over 25 years. The MUFON ORANGE COUNTY branch was established in 1995. What does MUFON do? MUFON is an educational organization dedicated to the research and investigation of unidentified flying objects (UFOs). Only the highest scientific and research standards are utilized. MUFON members are all volunteers, contributing their professional skills in many diverse fields such as nuclear engineering, physics, computer science, advanced launch systems engineering, psychology and journalism, to name a few. Our Orange County members come from all walks of life, religious beliefs, age groups and professions. What educational programs do you offer? MUFON ORANGE COUNTY offers a monthly public program of the finest cutting-edge researchers and lecturers available in the UFO research community. MUFON ORANGE COUNTY is involved in UFO field investigations in the Orange County area. The MUFON Field Investigators Manual is utilized in all investigations. Field Investigators are dedicated to solving UFO reports in an objective, thorough and unbiased scientific manner. MUFON ORANGE COUNTY also sponsors a Research Project. How does one become a member of MUFON ORANGE COUNTY? You can join at any of our monthly public programs or you can fill out the form on our Membership page and just mail it in. Membership provides a significant discount to the monthly public presentations and also helps support the ongoing efforts to solving the UFO mystery.
