NFP is a wholesale distributor of hardwood lumber, component parts, and Baltic Birch Plywood. Our Centerville, MN facility includes a 40,000 sq. ft. distribution center, with over 750,000 board feet of premium quality hardwoods from a variety of regions in the U.S. and around the world. We specialize in carrying a diverse range of thicknesses and species, continually stocking 4/4 through 10/4 thicknesses in a majority of domestic species and a full line of exotic hardwoods. We also stock Western Red Alder, Northern White Pine, and Baltic Birch Plywood. NFP is 50% owned by a Michigan hardwood lumber sawmill and dry kiln facility. The Michigan operation is located in a prime area for desirable Northern characteristics in such species as White Hard Maple, Red Oak, and Soft Maple. Our complete milling facility is highlighted by our new, high-tech Raimann optimizing ripsaw. Using laser optics and two movable blades to help us get the most out of every board - its capabilities are responsible for our Cutting Edge offerings. We also offer finish planing, sanding, chop-to-length, and delivery services. The strength of Northern Forest Products has always been our people and their experience.
