Barlo Signs International, Inc. is headquartered in Hudson, New Hampshire, and has been creating exceptional signage since 1969. With production facilities in New Hampshire and Juarez, Mexico, Barlo employs over 160 skilled craftspeople and staff. Our products span the entire spectrum of interior and exterior sign displays, and our services include surveying, permit and variance procurement, engineering, designing, value costing, project management, manufacturing, installation, service, and maintenance. Barlo has grown consistently, with projected sales for 2007 of 19.1 million dollars. The company was founded by Arthur and Pam Bartlett, and their son Randall joined the organization in 1995. A subcategory "S" corporation, Barlo is organizing and strategizing for the future, restructuring the operations of the Barlo facilities to maximize technology use in all areas of sales, marketing, manufacturing, and project coordination. A large percentage of signage for national projects is manufactured in Barlo's Mexico facility, and some regional custom work is done at headquarters in Hudson, N.H. Assembly, packaging, storage, and distribution are dispersed geographically. Barlo owns a 55,000 square foot state-of-the-art sign manufacturing facility in Juarez, Mexico, which allows the manufacture of neon channel letters and cabinet signs at extremely competitive prices. This facility houses 15 channel letter workstations, with 48,000 square feet allocated to manufacturing and assembly. Packaging and storage facilities are combined in approximately 5000 square feet of dedicated space. The remaining space is allocated for office and conference use. Directly across the U.S. border from Juarez is the 10,000 square foot distribution center in El Paso, Texas, from which shipments are transferred and distributed nationwide through the use of contracted national-caliber ground shipment companies. A portion of custom and certain regional projects are manufactured in our Hudson, N.H., facility. Here we have approximately 35,000 square feet for manufacturing, assembly and offices, and 2000 square feet for storage and packaging. There are three neon stations, with the bulk of our space used for large aluminum extrusion and cabinet manufacturing. Our own staff and fleet of 14 service ladders and cranes carry out distribution, installation, and service of regional projects. For regional purposes, we have eleven trailers ranging from 14 feet to 29 feet in length. Our project management and production teams meet twice a week to discuss the status of every project, and report weekly to Executive Management. This ensures that the team understands the totality of the program, the issues and requirements of each project, and that senior management is completely aware of any issues that require high-level activity.
