The Howell City Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 611 E Grand River Ave., Howell, MI 48843 to consider a variance from side setback the requirement in the R-1 Single Family Residential District, under City of Howell Zoning Ordinance (Section 4.07).  The applicant is proposing to construct an addition to their home that would be 3 feet from the side (south) lot line where a minimum of 8 feet is required at the following address:    Parcel # 17-35-202-085 222 S. Tompkins   Any questions you may have regarding the above item can be directed to the City of Howell Community Development Department at 517-546-3861.   If you have any written comments or concerns, they can be sent to the Howell City Board of Zoning Appeals, 611 E. Grand River, Howell, MI 48843 and should be received before June 24, 2014.   Persons interested are welcome to attend this meeting.
