Our services can be utilized on a project by project basis or on a 'Virtual Subsidiary' arrangement. In project mode, you email your requirements to us and we will provide you with a quote based on the information provided within 24 - 48 hrs. Your requirements can range from minor changes to a complete refurbishment of an application. Our rates are a flat $25 per hour for offshore coding. Once work starts you are provided with progress reports and (developing) deliverables for review and comment at an agreed frequency (determined by the size and criticality of the project). At completion you are requested to sign-off on the project and the documented code is transferred to you. Velocity provides a 30 day bug fix warranty on the code. A call-off maintenance service is also available. Our Virtual Subsidiary service or in simple words "Offshore IT Outsourcing Service" is provided for customers who have a regular flow of work but either do not want to incur increase to local headcount or do not know whether it is sustainable. This service provides you with a dedicated resource for an agreed period of time working full-time on your projects, reporting into and managed by your staff. Velocity provides the resource, facilities and local management for you. This 'subsidiary' can be upsized or downsized or can have additional skills introduced for parts of a project dependent on your needs.
