Stone Partners was originally formed in 1987 as J. E. Stone & Associates. From the beginning, our focus was to provide clients a full platform of actuarial, employee benefit and compensation services. The company quickly grew to include offices in Dallas and Austin to compliment our Houston technical and consulting center. Similar to many of our Texas based clients, our company has embraced the globalization of human resources and provides services to employers and plan participants throughout the United States and the world. In the mid 90s, we responded to client needs by adding payroll, HR and health & welfare administration to our list of services. Our company participated in the significant changes and evolution within the HR service provider industry as we experienced our own merger/acquisition/spin-off activities in the late 90s and into the early part of 2000, when the company was reorganized under the Stone Partners banner. Today, we continue to provide a full service approach to HR consulting and outsourcing services. We have also significantly increased the HR outsourcing capabilities available to clients through our partnership with Ceridian. Our consulting group continues to expand its services base through the addition of senior industry talent.
