Separation Systems Consultants, Inc. (SSCI) is a multi-disciplinary environmental consulting and field remediation firm with diverse capabilities and experience. We regularly provide consulting services, technical advice, project management, expert witness testimony, and general management services to government agencies and the private sector since 1986. The firm now employs 23 full-time professionals, and a variable number of support and part-time personnel. More than 50% of full-time personnel have academic and/or technical degrees, and all personnel are trained, licensed and certified in accordance with all contemporary requirements for the environmental services sector. SSCI has also completed larger remediation projects for a variety of government agencies and private sector clients. Because our individuals are cross-trained and have solid environmental backgrounds, a number of employees can serve in various functions. As an example of our diversity with Phase I, II, and III assessments/services, SSCI has: performed over 1,000 Phase I and II ESAs; been prime contractor in demolition and asbestos removal projects at a Superfund Site; removed and/or remediated over 600 underground storage tanks; closed more than 125 oilfield waste pits; trained hundreds of persons on hazardous materials and OSHA/RCRA requirements, including government employees; prepared environmental impact statements; and completed wetlands assessments, comprehensive asbestos surveys, hydrogeologic investigations, oilfield waste pit closures, and hazardous waste management programs. With offices in Houston, San Antonio, Austin and Dallas, Texas, and Houma, Louisiana, and field offices in Mississippi, Arizona, New Mexico, California, and Oklahoma, SSCI can respond quickly to your environmental needs.
