Morris Architects was established in Houston, Texas in 1938. The firm's professional practice is international with projects and registration in 23 states and work in the Caribbean, Central America, Europe, Mexico, South America, and the Pacific Rim. We provide comprehensive architecture and interior design services, strategic planning, programming, and environmental graphic design services. Morris Architects is organized into seven studios, each dedicated to a designated area of focus: Civic, Corporate, Education, Entertainment, Healthcare, Hospitality, and Public Assembly. Offices are located in Houston, Orlando, Florida and Los Angeles, California. During the past five years, over $5 billion worth of projects have been completed worldwide. Morris Architects is a founding member of "The Global Design Alliance", an alliance of 10 member firms totaling over 3,000 staff which provides each member firm with an international network of architectural and engineering offices. Morris Architects is organized as a privately owned "C" Corporation, with ownership held by nine shareholders. These shareholders are all principals in the firm, whose responsibilities include firm leadership, client relationships, market expertise, as well as corporate management.
