Info

Mincron SBC Corporation was founded in New York City in 1979 as a professional services firm offering a range of both technical management and programming services to a cross-industry market that included several Fortune 500 clients. In the mid 1980s, Mincron evolved into a provider of software product solutions. After the Hardgoods Distribution Enterprise product (MSS/HD) was successfully installed in several large wholesale distribution firms in the United States and Canada, the company moved the headquarters to Houston to focus on developing and providing software solutions to help distributors reduce operating costs and increase revenues. In 2007 Mincron was acquired by Briarcliff Solutions Group (BSG), a company that owns and operates businesses that provide software solutions to improve distribution. BSG, which also owns AL Systems (www.alsystems.com), a provider of integrated software solutions that improve the flow of merchandise through distribution centers, is a client-centric business focused on profitable organic and acquisitive growth in the supply chain software market. Today, Mincron has an installed base of over 100 large and medium sized distributors ranging in annual revenue from $20 million to more than $10 billion. More than 15,000 users sign on to Mincron's solutions each day at over 2,000 locations. More Mincron clients have been named "Wholesaler of The Year" by Supply House Times than with any other application. The most important measure of success, of course, is the degree to which Mincron satisfies clients' needs. And the company is currently satisfying more clients, to a greater degree, than ever before.
