The goal of Houston Pediatric Surgeons is to provide the highest quality pediatric surgery in the most caring and efficient manner. We strive to deliver the most competent surgical care in a personalized fashion. Houston Pediatric Surgeons has been in practice since 1981 and has operated on over 35,000 children. We are full-time pediatric surgical practitioners with appointments at both Houston medical schools. Our success and reputation are based on our proven ability to effectively implement our philosophy. Office appointments are available daily, and patients are accommodated quickly. Patients are seen by physician referral or self referral. In addition to our Texas Medical Center office, we have offices in Kingwood, Sugar Land, Willowbrook Mall, The Woodlands, Memorial City/Katy, Angleton, Clear Lake and Northwest/1960. We have a bilingual staff and our office environment is friendly to children. In our medical center office, there is a 1,200 square foot waiting room with a functioning electric carousel. There is also an activity gym and numerous toys that appeal to a variety of age groups. Magazines, books, and videos that appeal to children are present, as well. Every child leaves any of our offices with a toy gift. A variety of patient education materials are available from our office. We spend the necessary time to explain procedure and treatment plans to patients and their families. We are constantly striving to go the "extra mile" to accommodate the unique needs of our patients and their families. We remain in close communication with the pediatrician or family physician during the evaluation, treatment, and postoperative phases of the child's care. We are on-staff at all medical center hospitals, as well as most community hospitals, so that your child's surgery can often be performed in your neighborhood. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We are contracted with every major medical plan in Houston. However, new insurance plans are constantly coming into being in Houston. If we are not on your plan, let us know, and we will make arrangements to get on it for you.
