After owning her own interior design business for several years, and then becoming a mother seven years ago, Annie is all too familiar with life on the go. Born in Charleston, South Carolina, Annie began her career in the field of architecture and engineering in Houston, Texas. After graduating from Texas A&M University, this hot new designer spent 10 years in the corporate world. After the birth of her daughter, Rachel, in 1999, Annie chose to stay home. In 2003, Annie started Annie Sumang Designs, a design company specializing in interior decorating and home accessories. In 2005, the designer within sprung forth, and she launched a line of couture baseball caps under the Annie Sumang label.
