The TCMH Physical Therapy Team provides a wide array of rehabilitation services to meet the needs of our community. Our professional staff, consisting of three full-time physical therapists, three full-time physical therapy assistants, a speech therapist and an occupational therapist, is available to assist you in recovering from a variety of injuries or illnesses. All of our staff is licensed in the state of Missouri and provides services for inpatients and outpatients. Services are also available to homebound patients through Home Health of the Ozarks . The physical therapy team has nearly 70 years of combined experience providing service to clients ranging in age from newborn to geriatric. We are staffed and equipped to treat a wide array of diagnoses and disorders including orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, neurologic disorders, acute and chronic neck and back pain, worker's compensation injuries, wound management, developmental disorders and lymphedema. TCMH has the only licensed physical therapist in the area with national certification in lymphedema therapy. We are a state certified worker's compensation facility. Our services are conveniently located just off the front lobby of the hospital. We are proud to offer a state of the art facility equipped with a Swim-Ex Aquatic Therapy Pool, Biodex Multi Joint Isokenetic Systen, Biodex Balance System and Body Solid weight equipment. The goal of the TCMH Physical Therapy Team is to provide education to our clients relevant to their injury or illness and assist them in achieving their maximum level of function.
