Frana was founded by Gary Frana in 1977 and, from the beginning, our goal was to be the best in the business at what we did. Peter Donnino, a Civil Engineering graduate of the University of Minnesota, joined the firm in 1983 as a Project Coordinator and is now President and CEO. Both believed in creating innovative ways to deliver the highest possible quality at the lowest possible cost. That's why, over the years, Frana has been selected to manage a wide variety of building projects that range from 15-story poured concrete condominium towers to 300-unit townhome communities to complex interior renovations. Our clients , developers, business owners, corporations, religious groups, government agencies , work closely with us to create a partnership on every project, from the simplest to the most complex. We are recognized as a major builder of privately financed and government-funded multi-family housing. In fact, we have directed the construction of more than 15,000 multi-family units representing over $1 billion in construction volume across the Upper Midwest.
