Our Charitable Mission and Policy the Hopedale Medical Complex is owned and operated by The Hopedale Medical Foundation, an Illinois not-for-profit charitable corporation established in 1961. The Foundation is an IRS 501(c)(3) corporation which means that donations are completely tax deductible. The medical complex provides services to all persons, regardless of race, creed, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age or ability to pay. For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2006, the Medical Foundation provided in excess of $300,000 in charitable care. Discounts to insurance companies and Medicare exceeded $9 million. HMC has also provided in excess of $325,000 in scholarship payments to area high school students over the last 25 years.
