Designer Built Systems, Inc. is a general contracting firm specializing in the construction and renovation of residential, commercial, and institutional structures and facilities. Designer Built Systems was established in 1991 by Mr. Randall B.C. Lau. The objective of the company is to provide a complete design and build capability to reduce initial building costs and time for customers. The company provides construction services for commercial interior projects and industrial buildings. Past Projects reveal the diversity of the DBS staff. Projects include new residential, single family, multi- family, renovation addition, new and renovated commercial and federal construction projects. Designer Built Systems, Inc. is an active member of the National Association of Home Builders and the Building Industry Association of Hawaii (BIA). DBS has established an in-house continuing education program for administrative and field staff which includes an intensive safety program. As a membeer of the NAHB and BIA, Designer Built Systems, Inc. is sworn to its code of ethics.
