Continental Academy is a distance education high school located in Miramar, Florida. Our high school specializes in home study high school completion programs for students that are at least 16 years of age. At Continental Academy our students are our #1 priority. Our entire staff is committed to providing our students with the most enjoyable and successful learning experience possible. All applicants will be considered for enrollment regardless of the last grade completed. However, all students must be at least 16 years of age to enroll and students who are under the age of 18 must provide a parent or guardian's signature of approval. Moreover, Continental Academy does not accept students who are currently enrolled in another high school. Continental Academy encourages students who are under the age of 18 and currently enrolled in a daytime/attendance based program to stay in school and not withdraw. Continental Academy's home study programs are designed for students that could not or did not finish high school. Continental Academy is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), The Commission on International and Trans-regional Accreditation (CITA), and the National Association for the Legal Support of Alternative Schools.
