LeanLogistics, Inc. is a privately-held corporation with headquarters in Holland, Michigan. We were founded in 1999 by veterans of transportation and Third-Party Logistics. The founders assembled a cross-functional team with a mix of skills and extensive experience in:Business strategy and business process innovationLogistics and transportation best practices and information systemsSoftware development, marketing, and implementationElectronic commerce and marketplacesOn-Demand TMS® went live in early 2001. The web-based infrastructure was developed in partnership with Sun Microsystems, and the functionality was designed from the collective experience of the LeanLogistics team. We host the application for all of our clients. This model reduces your risk and expense and allows us to rapidly develop and deploy enhancements and new functionality. In 2006, we introduced LeanLogistics Managed Transportation Services (LLMTS), a comprehensive offering that combines business process outsourcing for transportation with the power of On-Demand TMS® software. LLMTS allows customers to improve bottom-line performance while maintaining appropriate control of their transportation operation. At the end of 2006, we had grown to over 50 employees supporting over 35 major corporations with over 14,000 users who process more than 70,000 shipments per week representing an annual freight bill of over $3 billion!
