Description of Ward Street United Methodist Church
At Ward Street, our mission is for our church to be the difference makers in our community. Each and every Easter, we gather outside on the street corner to walk our community and to ask God to help us discern the positive difference we have made in the community that year. In a community of substantial needs, we see ourselves as the corporate body God has called into action to bring about even more substantial transformation. We are a mission station that appreciates partnerships of other churches and civic organizations to work alongside us with the Risen Christ in order to bring about meaningful change through dozens of community ministries that are happening day in and day out. At Ward Street Mission, everyone finds their gifts and has ample opportunities for meaningful service. Come and help be agents of change for God in the world!
