Applied Environmental, Inc., based in Herndon, Virginia, provides environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and safety consulting support to private industry and government clients. Incorporated in 1986, the firm started with two employees and has demonstrated continuous growth with now over 40 employees. The goal of Applied Environmental, Inc. is to respond to the needs of our clients quickly and cost effectively while delivering exceptional quality. Over 18 years after our inception, we continue to provide our clients, many of them who have come back repeatedly, with exceptional quality services utilizing state-of-the-art technology and a highly qualified and experienced staff. We recognize and support the achievements of our staff in obtaining the professional registrations and certifications that are recognized as the standards of practice within their respective disciplines. Our staff currently includes professionals who have achieved the designation of Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), and Registered Professional Geologist (PG). The firm's senior professional staff is supported with mid and junior level industrial hygienists, indoor air quality specialists, safety engineers, environmental scientists and engineers, and field technicians.
