Riverside Logistics Inc
Logistics services
Info
Riverside Logistics was founded in 1996 by Keith Hamlett and Frank Wood, who were colleagues in the transportation division of James River Paper Company (today's Fort James/Georgia Pacific). Riverside's first customer was James River, who outsourced many of the company's transportation needs to Wood and Hamlett. As Riverside Logistics grew and added customers, it concurrently broadened its service offerings to meet those customers' various transportation and distribution needs. Today, the company offers a full compliment of third party logistics services, including management of over 120,000 square feet of warehouse space. In 2000 Keith Hamlett and Robert Shagawat partnered to form Shippers Commonwealth, a provider of transportation management systems, powered by the RedPrairie TMS.
