Desserts by Rita is a small bakery based in Bishopville, Maryland, but reaches to Harford County in Havre de Grace where Rita–the owner and operator—herself grew up. Rita moved from Harford County to Ocean City, MD. Rita insists that the reliable moistness and quality of all of her products stems from herself being hands-on in her kitchen and overseeing the baking, assembly and decoration of her desserts every day. She takes care that each dessert that is being made for a potential customer, whether it’s a wedding cake or a small Lemon Lust, has the highest quality ingredients going into it. Rita strongly believes that putting the finest ingredients into the cakes creates the best product.
