Motion Incorporated is an award-winning, full-service film and video production company. Motion Inc. has produced video for corporate, commercial, nonprofit and broadcast clients since 1980. In addition, we have independently produced television shows for broadcast and home video release. Motion Incorporated handles production from concept to distribution, or provides production services on an as-needed basis. Our offices are at 1841 Broad Street in Hartford, where we house three Avid non-linear digital editing systems. We own professional video and audio recording equipment along with lighting and production support equipment. Motion Inc. has five full-time employees who provide production and post-production services along with administrative support. The company principals are Glenn Orkin and Ed McKeon. Before joining Motion, Inc. in 1983, Glenn worked as a freelance cameraman, producer- director (Times Mirror), and news editor (WFSB). Ed has worked in television production for over seventeen years as a writer, producer and director. He has managed two in-house corporate television facilities, and written and produced film and video for a number of clients on a freelance basis. In addition to their work at Motion, Inc., both Glenn and Ed teach film courses at Trinity College in Hartford as adjunct professors. Motion Incorporated has a long history of working with companies and producers from around the country. We are often called upon to assemble the finest technical, creative and acting talent from Connecticut, New York, Boston and beyond to meet the goals of clients.
