Chemlube's global influence is established through cooperation with many base oil producers in USA, Europe, the Far East, and South America in the international distribution and marketing of their oils. Furthermore, Chemlube assists regular customers in the sourcing of base oils from all parts of the globe. Our international base oil trade activity includes complete logistics and customs functions as well as market advice, and involves both short and long term commitments. In Western Europe, West Africa, Northeast Asia, and throughout North America, Chemlube offers related services in support of this business, including customized blending and inland transport (barge, railroad, tanktruck). In other parts of Europe and the Eastern hemisphere, Chemlube's base oils business is managed by personnel in the affiliated company, Sopetra, SA. This business includes the distribution and sale of base oils and specialty products within Europe. Much of the latter activity centers on storage and blending facilities operated in Antwerp through which Sopetra conducts barge, tanker, tanktruck and flexitank shipments. In the United States, Chemlube's blending operation is located in the NuStar Energy LP Terminal site in Savannah, Georgia. This grass roots facility was newly built in 2002 and expanded in 2005. It provides easy access for deep-water receipt of base oils from both domestic and international refineries. These base oils are distributed by tank transport, jumbo rail cars, or barges to a variety of end users or other blenders. We offer Chemlube 150N through Chemlube 500N grades and all blends in between. These oils are well suited to formulate a wide variety of automotive, industrial, and marine lubricants as well as diluents for additives and process oil applications. Our blend plant in Savannah also produces a full range of high quality lubricants. Chemlube manufactures its lubricants using licensable formulations for all automotive products with truly outstanding performance. In addition, we aggressively pursue cost savings to enable competitive pricing and unequaled delivery service. Chemlube's technical expertise in all aspects of lubricant production is also well known in the countries of the Former Soviet Union. Before recent divestitures, Chemlube operated four lubricants blending plants in Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan. When the Turkmenbashi Oil Processing Complex (TKNPZ) built new units for base oil production and finished lubricant blending, the refinery's specialists selected Chemlube as the technical support provider for production issues and the delivery of lubricant additives for different applications and quality levels. Chemlube is working hard to assist the Turkmenbashi Oil Processing Complex equip its laboratory with the most modern methods of physical and chemical analysis, test benches for effective evaluation of lubricant quality, and training to assist laboratory and production unit personnel in finding and optimizing the content of finished oil mixtures. TKNPZ specialists have demonstrated their appreciation for Chemlube's technical support by expressing interest in further cooperation in the coming years. One of the results of Chemlube's lubricants activities has been to facilitate expansion into the markets for fuels and alternative fuel products in order to provide 'full service' to customers in many of the same regions where our lubricants business is flourishing. As a result, Chemlube is now engaged in the supply and sale of fuels to Africa and bio-fuels to Europe.
