Info

The Hannibal Jaycees were established in 1948. The Jaycees were asked to welcome a group of young visitors from St. Louis to the Hannibal community by providing an exciting event which was reflective of the history of the town. This was officially known as the first Fence Painting Contest. The Hannibal Jaycees have had a long comittment to the community's youth. Volunteering countless hours and raising money for the Hannibal community each year is an act of which the Jaycees are proud. Supporting children from all walks of life is the reason behind their determination. The Hannibal Jaycees have made contributions over the years to the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, American Red Cross, Hannibal Nutrition Center, Avenues, the Humane Society, Youth Sports, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Special Olympics, Glad Tidings/Adopt A Family program, and many, many, more.
