The civil engineering firm of Summers Engineering, Inc. was established in April of 1962. The firm is located in the heart of the Central Valley in Hanford, California. The engineering staff consists of seven established and young engineers with a vast amount of engineering background. The company also employs two drafting technicians and clerical staff. Summers Engineering specializes in water resources, but also provides engineering services in all other branches of civil engineering. The firm has provided consulting services to numerous water agencies on the feasibility, financial analysis and design of irrigation and drainage works and rehabilitation of existing facilities. The firm consults with several municipalities throughout California to provide general engineering services, which include the design of water treatment plants, water transmission facilities, water storage tanks and the design review and inspection of drainage, sewer and water facilities for proposed subdivisions. Summers Engineering also consults with numerous irrigation districts within the state on irrigation, drainage and groundwater issues.
