AppCenter, LLC is a privately held Maryland corporation. It was formed in 1994 by Timothy Niles to perform systems integration and consulting services for small to medium size businesses under the name Niles Consulting. In 1999 the practice was renamed Technology Support Services but the focus of the company has remained the same. In 2000 TSSI began hosting and designing internet web sites as an added service to its customers. In 2004 AppCenter was formed with the sole purpose to perform internet web hosting and design previously perfromed by TSSI. In this way both organizations focused on there seperate areas. At this same time, Scott Zimmerman joined the organization. For more details on our management team. After twenty years of various technology support, IT administration and management positions, Niles noted that there are very few resources with the necessary competencies and at resonable cost for the small and medium business sector. Most of the alternatives focus is on the Fortune 500 or government sector and what remains are part time endevors or retail computer sales organizations. AppCenter is proud to be able to say that to date we have never lost a customer. This speaks to the need as well as the experience and expertise that AppCenter brings to each client. Our goal is not to change our client to meet our approach but to adjust to meet the unique business needs of each organization. Our goal is to maintain the highest quality of work in a professional and competent manner. Although we are growing significantly, we do not endever to become a large firm. It is a core belief that at a certain point, this would deter our ability to serve our clients to the superior level we desire.
