We plan on opening more repair facilities in the future so we can provide service to customers all over the Portland metropolitan area. The company was originally started by Bob and Dolores Shaw and was sold to Dan McGlone in 1998. Dan has made many changes to bring the company to where it is now. Some of these changes include remodeling, computerization, and expansion. We now have a DYNO DEQ computer with the latest printout, which enables us to perform the exact same tests that DEQ does. This way we can make sure your car will pass DEQ. Since the first Total Car Care Centers was taken over by Dan McGlone there have been many more to open. In February of 2000 Dan bought a shop in the Canby area. That shop is now up and running on its own. Soon after, in December of 2000, Total Car Care Centers Milwaukie became a reality. The newest location in Gresham opened in December of 2001. The auto repair market is continually growing and Total Car Care Centers will be there for you. Dan's son is helping out when not in school and sometime in the near future hopes to take over and run the business. Right now he is taking classes in school that can help Total Car Care Centers succeed. Northwest Auto Repair opened in September of 2000 on the corner of 148th & Stark Streets and has been serving the local community with quality automotive service & repair ever since. The owner, Scott Cuttitta has fashioned his business around his statement that: "Quality Is Our Promise To You", and that commitment to his customers will come to Total Car Care Centers. The merger of the two businesses will most certainly expand & improve the quality of service that you, the customer will benefit from.
