MASS MEDIA OUTREACH MINISTRIES (MMOM) -- Our name is unique, yet it defines who we are, and what we are about. M - MASS refers to the enormous world population of today. There are over six billion people living on earth at this time. This is the largest generation to ever exist in the world at one time in the history of man. M - MEDIA refers to various means of communicating the Gospel as in preaching, printing gospel literature (Scripture portions, gospel tracts, study courses, etc), translating, radio programming, street meetings, training sessions, establishing local Baptist churches etc. O - OUTREACH refers to going beyond, extending forth and stretching out. Acts 1:8, ",Go to the uttermost part of the earth." II Corinthians 10:16, "To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you," Mass Media Outreach Ministries has extended into 16 nations and is open to all nations, as the Lord wills. M - MINISTRIES refers to rendering service. Mass Media Outreach Ministries actively reaches out to the lost and at the same time we are trying to strengthen the Body of Christ through our various spiritual resources. Mass Media Outreach Ministries is working hand in hand with local Baptist churches and pastors for the furtherance of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus to the unreached souls of this world, as we are helping to train and equip national leaders. The primary thrust of Mass Media Outreach Ministries is the FOREIGN aspect of missionary outreach. Note some of the opportunities MMOM has, and some of our goals. 1. We are presently sending Gospel literature and study materials to national pastors, laymen and missionaries on the field. In some locations in third world nations, the national pastors do not have access to a Bible bookstore and therefore, they do not have adequate study resources to carry on their pastoral ministries. In most countries they do not have any study helps at all. Pastors and spiritual leaders in America have hundreds of books and resources in their study, yet some national pastors and leaders do not even have a complete Bible. This is a burden of MMOM. We don't only want to put a Bible in their hands, but we desire to give them a Bible study course and other helpful materials in their language to develop them and their churches, so they can grow and mature in the Lord. 2. MMOM is concerned about the Christians living in countries that are not friendly to the gospel of Jesus Christ and the Bible. The pastors and Christian workers need the help of other believers. In some situations we have to pray about when to send materials into certain nations, because it is not safe for the local believers to receive gospel literature at any time. Please pray that our hearts will be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit in these situations. 3. MMOM is likewise concerned about the spiritual welfare of the churches in remote areas of this world. These pastors and Christian workers need to be edified in the Lord. Once we are made aware of a needy place, we will endeavor to bring encouragement to the church through prayer, the printed page and, if possible, through personal visit to that field. 4. MMOM desires to see precious souls come to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. In training and equipping the national leaders and workers with the right tools they can become the most powerful witness of the gospel with their own people. We have the testimony of hundreds of professions of faith because of the training programs and resources MMOM has for the national. MMOM's monthly mail-out finds its way into homes, businesses, recreational places, and into the lives of the lost around the world. 5. MMOM has representatives who are burdened about the situation of churches in America concerning worldwide evangelization. That is why we are continually witnessing and preaching in meetings in the States. We are available for mission conferences, faith promise conferences, mission emphasis days, special meetings, revivals, ets. We would appreciate an opportunity of sharing the Word of God and the burden of the ministry with your church. It has been said that 90% of the gospel outreach is to 10% of the world's population. We have churches in almost every community in this country, especially in the southeastern part. America has been blessed with the gospel on radio, television and being sounded from the pulpits of many fundamental churches, making great Bible themes available to almost anyone who desires to hear. Seemingly, the church is settled down at Zion with reaching only 10% of the population.
