Dr. Laure Utecht is originally from Erie, PA. She graduated summa cum laude from John Carroll University in University Heights, OH. After moving to South Carolina, Dr. Utecht attended The University of South Carolina School of Medicine and graduated with honors in 1997. During her Pediatric residency at the Greenville Health System she and her husband started their family in Greenville. Dr. Utecht was a founding physician of Carolina Pediatrics, where she practiced from 2000 to 2003. Since that time she has been a staff pediatrician at the GHS Children’s Hospital. She joined the NEW IMPACT team in the summer of 2011.
