The development of Integrys Holdings LLC has been the culmination of a century of entrepreneurial achievement by its leadership. From developing and managing software products to transitioning businesses and forming alliances with domestic and international partners, the prehistory of the firm has assisted in shaping the Integrys of today. The story of Integrys began in 1980 when Bill Cox joined Business Systems Incorporated (BSI) and developed the company's Cable Television Management System (CTMS). In 1988, Bill purchased BSI, placing his own leadership mark on the company. In 1996, Earl Blasi joined BSI and teamed with Bill to sell the company to Wiztec Solutions, LTD (Wiztec), an Israeli publicly traded software company. They worked closely together to increase Wiztec's presence in North America and were instrumental in the growth in its value that led to the purchase of Wiztec by Convergys Corporation in 1999. In early 2000, Bill and Earl purchased the US subsidiary (essentially the old BSI) of Wiztec from Convergys to infuse its back office support and infrastructure into a new holding company venture, Integrys Holdings LLC. By January of 2002, the firm had outgrown its original home and relocated to a newly renovated 18,600 square foot building in Greenville, South Carolina. The move increased office space by more than 80% and provided an attractive, functional facility to accommodate the firm's growing portfolio. By 2004, Integrys was managing a family of investments that ranged from technology startups to established companies. . This continued growth lead to the addition of Tim Roberson as a Managing Partner. Tim was the driving force in the creation, development and eventual sale of Kyrus Corporation, IBM's largest point-of-sale reseller. With a powerful collaboration of management experience, Integrys is headed by a team of talented and successful entrepreneurs and is poised for a solid future of growth and investment.
