Michigan First Response has undergone significant change in the past four years. Mark Grossbauer formed Sterling Fire and Rescue Corporation in 2003. This corporation purchased the existing business, Michigan First Response, from Ron Schalow. Since the company has been under new ownership and management, we have made significant improvements in our services offered and expanded our product offerings. As of now we are continuing to do business as Michigan First Response. We are located in a commercial space in Greenville, Michigan with over 9000 square feet of office space, service area, parts warehouse and dry storage. Due to our convenient and centralized location within the State of Michigan, we can respond to parts orders and service requests very quickly. Serving the Emergency Medical Services, Fire/Rescue, Law Enforcement as well as private industries, Michigan First Response has a line-up of vehicles and services that effectively meet the needs of these industries and is a licensed Class A and B motor vehicle dealer by the State of Michigan. McCoy-Miller (located in Elkhart, Indiana and part of SJC Industries), Road Rescue (located in Marion, South Carolina is a wholly owned subsidiary of Michigan-based Spartan Motors, Inc.) and Demers Ambulances (located outside of Montreal in Beloeil, Quebec, Canada) are the ambulance manufacturers that Michigan First Response represents in the State of Michigan and in Northern Indiana. We also are the designated and factory approved parts and service centers for these manufacturers. In addition, Michigan First Response continues to build custom rescue trucks, fire trucks and other specialty vehicles. We hope to have the opportunity to serve your specialty vehicle needs.
