I am the superintendent of Valley Green Golf Club. I have been involved with golf and turf management for 33 years. Our course is a flat 18-hole facility with wide fairways and large greens. We offer individual and family memberships as well as being opened to the general public. On weekends I enjoy grilling steaks for our golf outings. In 1988 Mr. Liprando started to build a new course in New Alexandria, PA. The course became Mannitto Golf Club. I worked on the construction of Mannitto until it's completion in 1991. I then came to my home course, Valley Green, for the next two years. During the next two years, I was superintendent for both Valley Green and Mannitto. My assistant, Scott Miller, supervised Valley Green in my absence. In 1999, Mr. Donald Liprando became the new superintendent of Mannitto and I came back home to Valley Green. My new project is starting a green house. The green house is located above the parking lot at Valley Green. We are growing plants for all of our golf courses and also to sell to the public. I have enjoyed my golf course career. I am going to keep working on Valley Green so it is enjoyable to play. So come play and try our course - I am sure you will enjoy it. We will be glad to have you.
