Jeffrey Baer & Associates, Ltd. is the second generation of a family business started in 1969. Jeffrey Baer, President, has been a part of the firm for the last 19 years. He is a CPA and has also obtained both the Certified Financial Planner certification (CFP) and the AICPA specialty designation of Personal Financial Specialist (CPA/PFS). Jeffrey holds a series 7 securities license and is also a licensed independent agent of life, health, property, and casualty insurance. As a trusted advisor in the financial service industry, Jeffrey incorporates your values, needs, and goals in to individualized financial solutions. Clients can be assured they will receive quality personalized service beyond their expectations. Jeffrey is frequently used as a national press contact on financial issues and was quoted in the May 2003 issue of Chicago magazine. In August 2003, 2006, and 2007, Jeffrey lectured a full ballroom of over 400 CPA's at the Midwest Business & Technology Solutions show held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont. He is regularly asked to speak at local accounting and financial planning conferences and is a regular contributor to the Chicago Sun Times Currency section weekly question & answer series which appears on Mondays. Jeffrey was born in Chicago and grew up in Northbrook where he currently lives with his wife and two children. His passions include any activity that involves children, family, educating the community, and the Chicago Bears Football Team.
