Green Square was founded in September of 1997 on the principle that the health insurance industry demanded process automation. We wanted to build a consulting firm based on honesty and integrity. Our goal was a simple one: Help health insurance plans make good decisions about Document Capture and Scanning, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Document Management and Imaging, as well as process automation and workflow. Some facts about where we've been:Focus We only work on health insurance payer projects. In ten years, we have gained significant experience in this type of business. History of Successful Consulting We started out as a consulting firm living at the intersection of health insurance and process automation technologies. We have worked with over 25 Blue Cross Blue Shield plans. Business Process Management (BPM) Innovator Green Square did its first workflow project in 1998. Since then we have completed a series of innovative workflow and BPM projects. Midwestern Roots Green Square has offices in Chicago,IL and Fargo,ND. We carry a Midwestern approach to all of our projects. What that means to us is customer service, honesty and delivering value. Environmental and Social Stewardship The "Green" in Green Square is on purpose. We fund environmental charities including Conservation international http://www.conservation.org and The Nature Conservancy http://www.nature.org . In addition, we focus on reducing our environmental footprint in a variety of ways. In addition, we work with social charities including Catholic Charities of Chicago www.catholiccharities.net. Every employee volunteers at least a half day per month in their community, as part of their Green Square work. Where we've been is very important. But it only shows part of the picture.
