Wayne Veterinary Hospital is owned and operated by Dr. George R. Silver and his son Dr. George R Silver Jr. Dr. Silver is a graduate of Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine and retired Colonel in the North Carolina Army National Guard. While Dr. Silver Jr. Is a 2005 graduate of St. Georges University and the Vice president of membership with the Goldsboro Young Profesionals, and a active member in the local Chamber of Commerce and Goldsboro Rotary Club. Both are Eagle scouts and members of the First Baptist Church of Goldsboro.
