White Mountain Cider Co. is owned and operated by Teresa and Scott Stearns who purchased the White Mountain Cider Company in May of 2005. This beautiful 1890's farmhouse is located on the busy RT. 302 in Glen, New Hampshire just around the corner from Story Land. The White Mountain Cider Company was established in 1997 by Lynn and Chris Brown, who had began renovating the building. In the spring of 1999, after two years of work, White Mountain Cider was opened. The business included a retail store, bakery, and cider mill. Scott and Teresa, graduates of the Culinary Institute of America & having cooked in NH, California & Washington; have elevated this beautiful spot to another level by relocating the Rare Bear Bistro formerly of the Bernerhof Inn to the White Mountain Cider Company. They offer their culinary talents and treat their guests to delicious & creative daily dinners as well as providing tasty treats in the country store & at the Fall Cider Festival. Their fare is also available for on or off site catering. Depending on the season, visitors can relax by our large Rumford fireplace or outside on the stone patio.
