Welcome To Our Family Brookside Veterinary hospital was founded by Dr. Lisa Woods-Zabari in 1994 and in our current building since 2000. She raised her son as a single parent, practiced veterinary medicine, and ran the business of the hospital since its inception. She is dedicated to caring for the well-being of pets in Gig Harbor, Key Peninsula, and surrounding areas for nearly three decades. Recently, Dr. Lisa was ready to step back from ownership but wanted to ensure what she had built stayed locally owned to continue to serve the community as she had been. She was introduced to Dr. Zingsheim-Nadeau (Dr. Z) and her husband Michael who were eager to help keep the hospital locally owned and operated.
